To Choose Or What To Choose That Is The Problem

To Choose Or What To Choose That Is The Problem H ello, I’m Amber, a bright and determined 13-year-old. Unlike most kids my age, I’m not content with the ordinary. At this age, I already run two YouTube channels, write blogs, and I’m inspired by Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Arfa Karim, the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional from Pakistan. I want to make a dent in the universe like Steve Jobs did, as he said to poke at something to see what comes out. This is what I aim to do, and I believe computers are the way to follow. But here’s the problem: as I approach standard 9, I have to choose between Computer Sciences and Biology. Naturally, I would love to choose computers, but there’s a slight problem. The computer lab at school does have computers, but they’re running Windows 7—an outdated operating system. It’s hard to learn modern programs and new skills on such old technology. Another issue is the lack of internet access. After thinking about all this, I asked for advice from my

A VISIT TO SCIENCE CENTER

Image
A Visit To Science Center   My Mamo (my mother's elder brother) took all of us, including my cousins, to the TDF MagnifiScience Center in Karachi. I had never visited a place like this before, and it's a wonderland of science! The experience was, needless to say, amazing. Remember the Titan, the submersible that imploded during an expedition to view the Titanic wreck on June 18, 2023, in the North Atlantic Ocean off Newfoundland, Canada? The founder of TDF, The Dawood Foundation, Ahmed Dawood's grandson Shahzada Dawood, and his son Suleman were unfortunately part of the group that went in it. The MagnifiScience Center is part of their foundation. Shehzada Dawood with his son Suleman. First, we entered the mirror maze, and it felt like we were in infinite space. Wherever we looked, it seemed like the same long tunnel, but as we moved forward, we hit the mirror wall - an illusion created through mirrors. There were no long tunnels, just an illusion.   Our Gang In the Maze

Daughter of the Soil Fighter Pilot Marium Mukhtiar 1992-2015 W hat would you do if you had only one choice, To save your life or the lives of others? It is natural to get in the safety zone and save yourself first that's our first instinct as humans but for a well-trained officer, the situation demands a different equation. For Marium Mukhtair the safety of her people comes first that's what she was trained for. In seconds she decided to take the fallen (FT-7PG) plane away from the populace area.   The gravitational force tore the plane into pieces, Just seconds before hitting the ground Marium managed to eject, but these few seconds of delay proved fatal, She could not survive and took her final breaths in hospital, Her soul parted from her body and flown away to eternal life. UPGRADING PAKISTAN'S EDUCATION

Image
“HOW CAN WE UPGRADE PAKISTAN’S EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM?” P akistan is a country with many bright kids who want a chance for a better future. Our parents work hard to send us to school, but the point is – our schools need some serious improvements.   I'm a thirteen-year-old Pakistani, and in this blog, I will share some ideas on how we can make our schools way better. So, Let's get into it!   Firstly, let's talk about how some places, like Punjab, have better schools than others, like Sindh. In Punjab, students get free laptops – cool, right? Even government schools there are pretty good. So, in Sindh, let's try to get laptops for students too, and maybe focus a bit more on English than Sindhi – it might help us do better in our studies.   Next up, we've got a shortage of good teachers. Not to complain, but some teachers could use some help. How about having teacher programs that could help them improve their teaching skills? Microsoft used to have a free teacher tra

To The Moon Our Neighbors

To The Moon Our Neighbors   Chandrayaan-3   India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft recently Landed on the moon. It’s the first to land near the moon's south pole. Now this is a big deal because the news is that there is water there in the form of ice. India Join the US, Russia, and China to become the fourth country to land on the moon.   What's remarkable is that India did it with a smaller budget, like achieving something amazing without spending too much money. It's like being a smart shopper who gets a great deal.   The reason behind India's success is its intelligent engineers and the strong support from its government. They worked together like a dream team to make impossible things happen.   Now, let's talk about Pakistan. In Pakistan unfortunately every good thing that happened to this country was a while ago So a while ago, Pakistan did some rocket launches with help from essential people like Dr. Abdus Salam. They even put their own satellite y

Learning from Failure

Image
Learning from Failure I recently had a conversation with my father about an inspiring story. We discussed Sal Khan and his determination to turn his online platform, Khan Academy, into a vast source of knowledge accessible to everyone. We explored the "life skills" section of the website, where my father shared a story about Sam, a student who thought he was a math genius after passing his first test with flying colors. Sam overestimated his ability to pass the next exam without preparing, but he finally failed. Regrettably, I fell into the same trap. Despite feeling confident as a competent student, I was disappointed to find out that I had failed my math test this week. This failure served as a wake-up call for me as I realized the importance of hard work and daily practice if I want to succeed in school… Nature's laws apply to everyone, and even geniuses will fail if they get complacent.......   As Vince Lombardi said, 'The only place success comes
