A VISIT TO SCIENCE CENTER
A Visit To Science Center
Shehzada Dawood with his son Suleman. |
First, we
entered the mirror maze, and it felt like we were in infinite space. Wherever
we looked, it seemed like the same long tunnel, but as we moved forward, we hit
the mirror wall - an illusion created through mirrors. There were no long
tunnels, just an illusion.
Next, we
moved into the tilted room, made at an angle that pushed us back as we walked
towards the other side, simulating the force of gravity in a slow rhythmic
motion. This room was called the Anti-Gravity Room.
The Gang in Anti-Gravity Room. |
Then, we saw a corner that gave an illusion of our heads on a table - it seemed creepy, so we named it the "Creepy Corner".
My Brother Ibrahim and Sister Aafia |
There was also a place where, when I stood in one corner and my younger brother stood in the other, it made me look way too small, and my brother Ibrahim looked way too tall compared to me, despite me being 14 and him being only 7. We named it "Tall and Short".
Ibrahim Got His Wish, He Looks Taller than Me. |
Another cool room had a feature where our shadows on the wall froze - stunning and a bit scary too!
Look Who Is Behind US? |
We also saw some random stuff: A Pakistani-crafted truck,
Crafted Truck
Our typically designed ambulance.
Hurry Driver It's an Emergency |
A beautifully moving DNA of Humans.
The Building Blocks of Our Body |
The Classics |
A Mechanical Guitar that played through strings.
Cool |
Moving Car that moved when body temperature was detected on it.
A Globe of our Earth I Think...
Looks Like Earth |
Karachi |
Look Its PIA |
I'm
extremely thankful to my Mamo, who took us all there. I felt obligated to write
this blog to thank him. He always takes us to unique places, and we love him
for that. If you want to visit a place with real science and optical illusions,
do visit this place - it will be a life-changing experience for sure. Watch out
for my other blog. Thank you!"
